This homepage is addressed to all who want to learn something about the philosopher Jacob Böhme. It has been created by the members of the International Jacob Böhme Society, and has been designed and perpetuated over many years. According to the statutes of our association, we are independent of institutions and welcome all interested parties, whether they are scientifically, denominationally, historically or artistically oriented. The contributions published on these pages reflect individual opinions within the framework of the statutes and do not claim to represent the society in terms of content.
We have translated the most important pages into English and are continuously working on expanding the English language pages.
Please note the following technical information on the use of this homepage:
Navigation
From any page of this homepage you can return to the Start by clicking on the logo of our society in the upper left corner.
Log-in field
You do not have to be a member of our association to read the contents of this homepage. You don't need to register for this and you don't need the log-in field. This is intended for members of the association who want to view or download internal documents such as minutes, circulars or other association internal documents in the archive. This service is available to every member of the association. If you are a member and would like to access the internal association page, we ask you to register yourself (under "register"). We will do everything else. If you are already registered, you only need to log in with your chosen access data under "Login".
With the introduction of this new homepage, the old access data will lose its validity. Please register again in this case. This is also necessary for data protection reasons.
Individual works
"The Works" of Jacob Böhme are provided here with their own navigation, in which the titles of Jacob Böhme's almost thirty individual works are linked in the table of contents. This takes you to the table of contents. In a few brief comments we go through each of the works of Jacob Boehme and provide an explanatory summary of the work. We make no claim to completeness and would like to offer an introduction. The comments are only available in German.
Portal and projects
As a member of the association, you have the opportunity to demonstrate your Jacob Böhme projects on our homepage, as long as they comply with the guidelines of the statutes. We will be happy to set up an area for this purpose after consultation with you.
We hope you enjoy using this homepage and would be pleased to receive your comments and suggestions.
